The whole process of using easy jail call service and saving hundreds of dollars on cheap inmate calls is very simple:
a) You sign up for our service and receive a local number to the prison area where your loved one is incarcerated and woule be making a jail call from. This local number is then forwarded to your home or any other number of your choice.
b) Provide the easy jail call service local number as your HOME number to the prison / correctional facility’s phone call provider. This will save you hundreds of dollars as you will now be charged for local calls only instead of long distance
c) Your inmate can now dial the local number provided to you from Easy Jail Call Services to call out from their prison / correctional facility to make the inmate calls. 2) Do I still need to have an account with the prison’s call even though I signed up for your service?
YES, you still need to have an account with the prison calling service (often called collect service) as we do not replace them; we just provide you a local number to save you hundreds of dollars. 6) Can I use the Easy Jail Call Local number with my current Home/Cell/Work phone?
Yes you can. You may use your home phone, cell phone, office phone to get your easy jail call number forwarded to. You do not need any other separate phone or hardware.
7) Can I use your service on international phones too?
Yes you can. Infact some of our clients are from UK, Mexico, Canada, Brazil, Cuba, India and other parts of the world.
8) What are the charges for using your inmate calling service to an international phone number? Do we get unlimited minutes for the international plans too?
Since the prices of international calls vary considerably, we do not advertise those on our website. However, if you just drop us an email at info@easyjailcall.com , we will get back to you within a few hours with complete information on how to sign up and how much are the charges, Our international charges are normally very similar to our domestic charges.
9) Does Easy jail call service work with “Pre-Paid Collect” accounts at county jails and state prisons?
YES, our Easy Jail Call Service works perfectly with the jail / prison’s collect service. It was designed to work with any phone system. The savings with our service are amazing too. For example, if an inmate is currently paying $4.50 to connect plus $0.45 per minute, a 15 minute call would cost them $11.25. With our service the call would cost just $4.50 because there would be no LONG DISTANCE charges
